About the show:
Yehoshua Cohen , a yeshiva high school student and a member of a prestigious religious family, finds himself rethinking the way in which he was raised. He starts to doubt the truth behind his beliefs and his obligation to fulfill the mitzvoth. He ventures out on a once-in a-lifetime journey in to the heart of the non-religious world.
During his excursion in the secular world he questions his religious convictions and struggles to find his way.
This play addresses the many dilemmas that religious teenagers face today. All of them must make fateful decisions about their future and about whom they will be.
Following the play a discussion/debate will be held about the subject of the play.
The length of the play and the discussion/debate is approximately 9o minutes. The program recommended for grade 10-12 students, parents, teachers, and anyone who is interested in education.
